Bishops Castle Fish - Shropshire

The food at this restaurant was not very good. The steak pie had gone bad, as we could smell it as soon as we opened the wrapper. This is not safe for consumption. Additionally, my grandkids did not enjoy the chicken nuggets as they said it had a horrible taste.

Paid a visit on a midweek night had pre-ordered the food (8pm. , had excellent service as ever, decided on a large kofte kebab with salad and a portion of chips. The kebab was juicy and very tasty with nice crispy mixed salad and the chips were very nice.

This restaurant is a great option for a quick meal to go, and the prices are very reasonable compared to other similar places in the area. The only thing that could have been better were the fries.

One person in our group ordered just fries and thought they were fantastic. The rest of us had fish and chips and we were also satisfied. I opted for a shish kebab and it was delicious! The meat was tender and melt-in-your-mouth, paired perfectly with a fresh salad. It was a delightful surprise.

We weren’t happy with the quality of the food the first time we went, but we thought we would give them another try, shouldn’t have bothered, small portions which wouldn’t have been a problem if the quality was good, we had the fried chicken eight pieces and fries , chips were okay but the quantity was very poor, not enough for two , as for the chicken it was soggy not crispy but very rubbery we only ate two pieces, it was awful, a total waste of £13 or so , sorry we will not be going back, it’s up to you if you want to try it it , put for us once bitten well twice shy third time never again
