Such cool bartenders, food is good and clean, and atmosphere is chill.
I didn't even know this place existed. Excellent tap list. Walked up to find fresh KBS, and The Waldo's Special Ale on tap. Also a bunch of Maine Beer Company selections including Lunch. Limited food selection, but should be varied enough for almost everyone, and fairly inexpensive. Service was friendly and knowledgeable.
In the Shrewsbury area on a Monday afternoon and decided to stop for my first time for lunch at Borgatti Bar and groceries at Whole Foods. Once I figured out that I had to stand at the bar upstairs to order from a menu, things went fine. Food came to the table without much delay--my turkey burger with a side of fries was okay but not great. Fries were dry and pasty, and the avocado on my burger was very under-ripe, I pulled it off as it had no flavor. My companion ordered a bbq chicken sandwich with a side of roasted buffalo brussel sprouts and he totally enjoyed his meal. The music was louder than necessary in my opinion and it echoed in the large open space. At the end of the meal, we bussed our own table (it wasn't clear if this was the thing to do), and the directions for trash and recycling did not include everything on our tray, such as which bin does the leftover ketchup in a paper cup go? Better signage and more employee presence and direction would have made this experience more enjoyable!
