Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Shreveport

The restaurant was very clean, and the staff were polite, greeting me as I entered. It was my first time visiting this location since it opened. I ordered some Blizzard shakes for my family, and most of them were filled to the brim with ice cream, except for one. Overall, the order was accurate and tasted delicious. I really miss having a DQ on Pines Rd.

I tried this Dairy Queen location for the first time and was extremely disappointed. I understand that fast food is meant to be quick, but this experience was unacceptable. Let's talk about pricing: when ordering any large meals, they charge for each large item in the meal separately. I ordered two meals for my husband and me, and with two small Blizzards, it came to over $45. I'm not sure if Dairy Queen is positioning itself as some sort of new fine dining fast food, but those prices are simply unreasonable. My meal arrived so quickly that by the time I got home—just 3 to 5 minutes later—the food was already cold. The fries weren’t even filled to the top, and overall, my meal felt very disappointing. I won't be returning to this location. That's final.

I ordered through the app for drive-thru pickup, which was an available option. I wasn't making it up. However, the guy in the red shirt looked up from his phone long enough to tell me that customers are required to come inside. If that’s the case, why is drive-thru ordering even an option? Then he asked me to move out of the way for another customer to order without even handing me my own order. When I finally received my items, nothing was correct or even recognizable. I had to clean the blizzard cup myself before leaving the store, and by the time I got to my car, it had the consistency of a melted milkshake. To make matters worse, the other item I received had toppings I didn't order. It would really benefit the establishment to remove options from the app that contradict their rules and to improve their customer service skills. I’m seriously considering not returning.

They were out of basic things very early in the afternoon. There were things on the menu that they no longer carry and it came as a surprise to the cashier person who didn't know the menu. There is a constant beeping from the drink machine that is superannoying and almost triggered some ptsd....lol but fr fr. If you need to wear down your rabbits teeth order the onion rings andlet them go for it. Where the hell is the hunger buster and the steak finger basket??? They've discontinued all the classics. Super disappointed. 3 stars because I was super thirst and the coke was just right.

This is still the best spot in town for a hot fudge sundae or a dipped cone. Although the lines can be long, the staff works hard to serve everyone as quickly as possible.
