I've left a few times because of the slow service, but I decided to order today: a chicken biscuit and hash browns. It seemed like my order had been sitting there for a while. I noticed the employees in the back were chatting about TikTok instead of focusing on the customers.
The staff at the front counter seemed distracted. At one point, I stepped away to read the menu because they didn't seem to know what they wanted. The food was adequate, but the lobby could have used a good cleaning, so we ended up eating in our car. We were quite a distance from home and typically rely on McDonald's for a quick meal, but in hindsight, we should have chosen to eat at Love's instead.
The next day, I called the restaurant to find out what happened. The manager lied to me, claiming that they would have honored my mobile order if they had been open. I told her that I had spoken to a staff member outside who confirmed that they were closed and asked how I could get a refund. She directed me to call back and speak to a manager. Later on, I noticed the lights were off, and two employees returned to the restaurant shortly before midnight. When I called again the next day, the manager started telling me lies and implied that I was being dishonest about the situation. A few minutes later, she called me back to apologize and offered to fulfill my order, which I had already paid for, despite having to drive around all night with four hungry teenagers. I ended up going to the nearest place open along the interstate in Auburn, AL. In the end, all they offered me was a reimbursement for the meal I had already paid for, which was pointless since I no longer needed it. I was just left frustrated and disappointed.
The workers must have a training. I'll show the cash register on my handy and she tells me that I have to order it online if it clearly says it shows cashier. so finally, after they politely showed her the phone, her manager came by to give her how to enter a credit card code. while I wait on the line, I see that several people still command that remain wrong there, and quite honestly my chicken sandwich was burned and my fries were cold. I didn't want anyone to do anything to me, so I just went next door and got burger king and through the mcdonald's in the müll.
It was bad. Asked for ketchup mayo, didn't get it or napkins. Most of the tables hadn't been wiped off either. Fries were pretty good but quarter pounder with cheese bacon, with only 1 piece of skinny bacon. Won't be back.
