Everything tasted like it was cooked in the same pan as everything else on the menu. The broccoli was waterlogged and tasted like it had been drenched in a broccoli and garlic sauce. The fried pork had only two tiny pieces of meat among a bunch of filler, and of course, no ice as usual. Everything had a burnt taste to it, and aside from the fried noodles—which were crispy and great as always—none of the other dishes had any flavor. The beef was plain, just broccoli, garlic, and rice—each dish lacked its own unique aroma, and the portions were surprisingly small for the price. I used to enjoy this place after the pandemic, but now it seems like something has changed. They even charged me extra for a small amount of sweet and sour sauce, which used to be complimentary. I feel like I wasted almost $19. I'm definitely not going back.
The Chinese takeout is perfectly acceptable—nothing more, nothing less. It's not the type of place where you’d go to experiment with Roman-inspired dishes or try something unusual, but their lo mein and fried rice are dependable. What else do you really need?
I give this Chinese lunch takeout a solid 4.5 stars. For just $8.50, you get a meal that includes rice and soup, making it a great value. The food tasted delicious. I ordered four different dishes, and to be honest, they all looked quite similar at first. I’m aware that this place doesn’t offer authentic Chinese cuisine, but I won't hold that against them since I really enjoyed the flavors of the dishes I chose. Everything was freshly prepared, which added to the experience.
The dame that picked up the phone was very rude when she had hanged me for the first time after I had asked that she made the delivery, I called back because I wanted to pick it up and she was still rude. very bad customer service. I'll never eat at a place where rude people work there, and she didn't even take care of how she treated me.
One of the best Chinese food restaurants around. The house fried rice and mai fun are our favorites.
