Nice view just really hot to eat at in the summer since they don’t have air.
Wasn't sure what to expect because it's more of a bar setting. However was completely surprised the food was the best we've had her in BSL will probably go back before we leave.
I was shocked. First time I’ve gotten bad food here! All 3 in my party got the Royal reds. They were instantly over seasoned. Screaming spicy (and I like spicy but this was over the top) way too heavy on salt too. That wonderful Royal Red flavor was completely overtaken by the seasoning. We didn’t send them back as one person in the party had an appointment and didn’t have extra time. What we did do was ask for go plates. We dumped the shrimp and fixins’ in the go plate, went home, put them in a colander and rinsed them well. It toned down the spice but the salt not so much. I couldn’t finish mine. I’ll still return because I’ve always loved TBT. Maybe today was just an off day. To end on a positive note I’ve always had friendly efficient service here.
TBT It is 97 and feels like 105. What should we do? Eat on the patio at a waterfront place is not what pops to mind. However, that is exactly where we found ourselves in Bay St. Louis Mississippi. Seating is open on the patio with picnic style tables and umbrellas. We ordered the shrimp tacos, the redfish sandwich, and the loaded fries. The redfish fillet was huge, fried, and very tender. It was served with potato salad and tartar sauce, open-faced on Texas toast. It was good, but I’m not really a huge fan of deep fried gulf fish. I think it loses some flavor. I am a fan of redfish, so I ordered it. Good sandwich for the money. The shrimp was cooked in a sweet chili sauce of some type and served on tortillas. If they were in not handmade, they were good enough to fool us. The loaded fries were fantastic. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Worth the stop if you don’t mind the heat.
