Fine Dining At L'ortolan - Shinfield

Excellent food, warm atmosphere, and great service. The bill was a bit more than we anticipated, but it was a fabulous evening for a delicious meal.

From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave, the service is excellent, and the food and drinks are outstanding. I can't fault a single aspect of the experience.

We cannot recommend this restaurant very much. all perfect.

We had a fantastic dining experience with the five-course tasting menu paired with classic wines while celebrating our daughter's 21st birthday. It was a beautiful afternoon spent here.

I have dined here many times over the years but have to say it seems to have lost sone of its shine. The food was very good but it all felt like a Michelin conveyor belt. The restaurant feels like it needs uplifting, the service was not personal, (even the welcome felt rushed) and post dinner felt like they just wanted us out. Great food but I will be giving this a miss for a while -with drinks it worked out about £170 per person, at this price I expect better.
