Wildflower hall perhaps has the best of everything, including food.Do take the chef's recommendation, its awesome. We have had some of the most amazing meals here during our stay. Everything is excellent. But Tiramisu stands out. The best we ever had.Do take your walking shoes, else you will return with extra weight as well, apart from an amazing stay.
An out of the world experience The best place I have been to Food was Excellent Service "A " Class Weather was perfect Words cannot describe the ambiance
First, need to start this review by letting you know I travelled the prior year, but that wasn't an option. We stayed at the Oberoi Wildflower and I have a separate review for that. The food here was quite good, but I wanted to share a couple of experiences that were memorable for us.My husband returned to India from the US for the first time in over 40 years. This was my first trip. He had wonderful memories of living in Shimla for a time, and he really wanted a goat curry, and asked at the front desk where he might go to for this. When we came back to the hotel after a day in the city, the front desk said that the restaurant manager wanted to know if we would like to dine with them and have goat curry! Wow, that was incredible service. They went out and bought goat just for my husband.Another memory was swimming in the pool, it was late season and while the infinity pool was nicely heated, it was quite cold when you stepped out. The hotel realized our pattern of going out to the pool late night to watch the stars, and had a tea and dessert service delivered to us, and included ras malai which I had mentioned I really enjoyed. Oberoi hotel is over the top in service and delight.
Situated in one of the most beautiful properties in and around Shimla. If you're ok with a heavy bill be prepared to taste some delicious food by the most hospitable people in Shimla. If you're lucky enough to be here on a day when it's not raining or snowing, make sure to sit on the balcony outside the restaurant. Great service and awesome food. Try out the lamb boti and the pine nut risotto - if you are vegetarian - or you may as well just have it. And for dessert the Baileys Crème Brûlée is a must. All in all it's a great place to be.
