Book Cafe - Shimla

A kind of cafe... Beautiful bakery... must try the pudding cups.. a special feature are the availability of books to read while the coffee. People can donate books.

The book café is located above the Ridge, Shimla. This place offers certain positive moods that can only be felt personally. Reading books in the lap of nature while enjoying your coffee is an ideal way to spend your morning or evening. This café is run by prisoners of the Kaithu Prison Shimla. The café has a wide range of books, but you can only sit here for an hour.

This is a small plant, but amazing, very well managed they will be a small menu of fast food and baked items, near the comb to Taka Bank, they have a good collection of books you can spend some good time reading about a cup of coffee, must visit when in Shimla, the food quality can be a little improved...!!!

Very good ambience.. a nice cozy place to have coffee with friends... The staff members are amazing band very good nature wise. If you want to spend some quality time with friends, this is the best place to be..

A nice cafe with good food and good books to read. The ambience is peaceful. There is not much variety in food but prices are reasonable. You will also not get much variety in books but they do have some really good books ranging from Charles Dickens to IIAS Publications. Most books are donated so it will take time to build a diverse collection. A good initiative.
