Soul Kitchen - Shillong

Most places in shillong doesn't have good north indian food,but this place is an exception. The biryani is very tasty and the butter naan which we tried was the best. Guys be sure to visit this place for North Indian food. Love this place.

It's a small, warm and cosy place.The interior is beautiful. It has a space for karaoke and live music. There is a huge flatscreen TV where they show movies. However the atmosphere is quite dull as there is no music. I suggest they play music instead of movies on the flatscreen as most people are busy eating or chatting and no one really watches the movie. The food is quite good and it's cheaper than most restaurants and cafe's in Shillong.

A year ago I visited this restaurant and i personally had a great time... However, I recently visited and honestly I disliked everything they served. The chicken wonton seemed like they just stuffed in frozen chicken, the egg chichen roll was super oily and even while biting into it I could feel the oil... The waiters seemed so not friendly.... Overall it was not a pleasant experience

Thali was good. Taste was more like north Indian than the local taste. The interiors are nicely done. Washrooms are very clean. There was also a place for live music but it was not there when we visited.

The staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely a visit at affordable prices. Garlic Butter Naan Chicken Bharta in the pictures. Far away from the crowd.
