This is great place to go for lunch. Always 5 or 6 different soups on the menu. My favorite is the Golden Thai but I have had most of them and they are all delicious. If you are hungry the sandwiches are also great and they have an extensive menu. Very good service and always a newspaper to read.
Someone had mentioned this little soup and sandwich spot and though I have driven past it many times, I needed to set my sights on finding it. Once you start looking for it, it rather sticks out! I pulled up in front and reviewed the menu board to the right of the door as I walked in. Although there were a number of soups on offer, I picked the Italian Sausage after thinking for ten seconds. I backed this up with a BLT Sandwich on boring white though, there are easily six other bread choices. Throw in a Gatorade and I was set to spend the next hour happily noshing on my comfort food and working on my iPad. But that time was well spent as the cast of characters that run this wonderful little eatery are a diverse group of entertaining individuals that would be equally at home in an English Pub in Newcastle Upon Tyne. It felt like being home with family. I will be back because it will take a lot of visits to tackle everything they continually change on their menu.
Eaten here a few times. Simply good food, soups and sandwiches done well. You can't get better than that. Its important to support local places and this is probably the best food joint in this corner of Sherwood Park.
Its really hard to find a place that sells a classic soup and sandwich these days. This place is excellent! I had a Turkey sandwich special and a cheddar broccoli soup, and was blown away with the quality. Soup was nice and hot, lots of fresh ingredients. The price was a bit steep but worth it for the meal. I would have gave 5 stars but the hours they are open are poor, I actually went there 3 times before actually finding it open. Also closed Sundays, just like everything else in Sherwood Park.Overall if you manage to catch them open I highly suggest stopping in for lunch!
