Ruamit Thai Restaurant - Sherwood Park

We went there once on Sunday to realize that they were cloosed on Sundays. Pretty sad as we had to drive to Sherwood Park for this. Today we finlly got in and really enjoyed our supper! The coconut chicken soup was the best ever (better than in Thailand)! : ) Ordered coconut rice and it was sweet (just didnt expect that).We wish the shrimp stirfry would have had more veggies though. The staff never came to check how the food tasted. Overall very good. Would recommend

Diamond in the rough ! First impression of the restaurant , you may think it to be run down ( lots of duct tape covering rips on bench chairs ) . Do not let this defer you !Truly some of the freshest Thai food we have had in ages !!! Amazing flavour , and great portion sizes . Great value for what you pay . Will return !

Food is excellent, so was the service. Garlic Shrimp was super, with coconut rice. A little expensive, but with a groupon, was an excellent price. Will be back.

We tried this place after a friend’s recommendation and it did not disappoint. We tried the basil beef and the red chicken curry. I asked how spicy the food was and the waitress said all though its marked spicy on the menu for our particular dishes she didn’t find them spicy at all. Since we both love spicy food we asked for extra spicy and the food turned out perfect! The better of the 2 dishes for us was the basil beef which had such strong flavours and we loved the sweet and spicy sauce used. We also ordered coconut rice which is extra from regular ice and all though it was really good we wouldn’t order again since the awesome taste of the dishes take over the taste of the rice after mixing it together.Overall we will definitely come back since this is probably one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve tried in Edmonton.

My wife and i stopped here for lunch the other day and were pleasantly surprised. She had green curry meal with coconut rice and i had red curry with coconut rice. The spring rolls were very tasty and our dishes were also very good. The prices were reasonable and we had the whole restaurant to ourselves due to the cold and snow and 1:00 time. We will be back.
