Good Buddy Restaurant - Sherwood Park

We ordered a large amount of food to be delivered. I called ahead to confirm which dishes were vegetarian. Most of the information I got was incorrect. Food was tasteless and greasy. We ordered dishes that we never received. Never again will we order from here.

I ordered ginger beef (extra crispy and sauce), vegetable fried rice, egg roll and green union cakes. The ginger beef was so mushy I feel like they let it soak in water for a day before packaging it up and sending it out. It has zero flavor, no extra sauce and was not even remotely crispy. The vegetable fried rice was cold and was packed full of mushrooms. What can I say about the egg roll. It was as terrible as the rest of the meal. It was literally dough for 7/8 of the entire roll. Mmm deep fried dough. The green onion cakes were wet and sweet. Disgusting. I have never had such a horrible experience at this restaurant, I called the manager and he gave me a $13 credit on my $40 bill. Thanks for nothing. I'll never be ordering from this company again, stay away!

We went with another couple tonight and we're not impressed with the lack of service and food. The individual soups for 5 could have been brought to the table all at once instead of 6 minutes of difference between. We waited for 45 minutes and our bill came but no dessert... hence the low tip... keep it up there's allot more Chinese food places that care about how the customer is treated.

We ordered the special for 4 take out. The delivery was on time. The food was delicious and there was more than enough for four people. The cost was a real bargain considering the amount and quality of food. We won't hesitate to continue ordering from Good Buddy.

It seems like Good Buddy Restaurant has either changed hands, has new cooks or just pulled up their socks. Food was quite good, tasty and hot and lots of choice. We will go back.
