Attentive staff all evening while on the patio. Great appetizer tonight of boccochino for the table. Warm and tasty melted cheese. Pizzas for the table is crisp on the bottom and perfect on top. Great friendly service continued throughout our meal. <br/ Thanks for the great evening Famoso and with the fabulous improvement in your service !<br/ <br/ Different approach to restaurant dinning. Not really liking the go up and order my meal approach. Pizzas for the gang took 15 minutes to come to a table with only five other tables in the joint. Kind of ridiculous when they claim it's cooked in 90 seconds. Slow service continued with the drinks, refills and clearing the table. Choose another location. Like any other one in the city!
Eat here. I ordered the duck pizza with chili the spice worked well with the savory duck and creamy cheese, it paired nicely with the Parker Station red vino. Next I had a Affogato, then choc-hazlenut panna cotta and coffee and grand marnier. The meal was delicious I will be going there many more times. The only criticism I found was the crust was a bit tasteless without the toppings, but that's hard not to do.
Great pizza! Fresh and flavourful ingredients! Service was good too! When we popped in, we didn't realize until after we already ordered that they were closing soon, and they were super patient with us. Love their Mozzballs and their Caesar salad too!
It is when one makes mistakes that they are truly tested. Part of my pizza burned, so I went back in... I thought I was in for a fight instead they immediately apologized, they remade my pizza, gave me $10 off my next one. I watched the manager fix the procedure politely with his staff then he showed me my pizza to me to make sure I was happy and apologized for the delay (them remaking it). I was more than happy it was great and I will be back soon.
It's hard to beat this pizza place; the food tastes just like the pizzas we had in Italy and that's because they are cooked in authentic Italian fire ovens and they use authentic ingredients like imported tomatoes from Campania and Canadian Fior-di-latte mozzarella. This is a family favorite for us when we do go out for pizza. On our last dinner there, my youngest opted to create his own pizza to match his spicy tastes; my eldest had the Capriccioso (a favorite for my carnivorous son); hubby and I shared a Dom Andreas (with creme fraiche, Fior-di-latte, roasted chicken, corn and Chipotle salsa and avocado, with a side of Valentina hot sauce) and the unique Cavoletti (with oven roasted brussel sprouts, prosciutto crisps, dates, walnuts, gorgonzola and honey). Plus we parents enjoyed the Monday drink special: Mela Margarita Cocktail. We sat outside on the patio and found the service friendly as always, although we thought it took a bit longer than usual to get our pizzas this time.
