Lovely restaurant. +171 years old and the oldest in Iowa. Ordered a to go order from the bar. Had the 3 piece broasted chicken dinner that came with salad bar and choice of potato for $15.00. Bar staff friendly and helpful. Worth the drive from Des Moines. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This restaurant needs to be on everyone's bucket list! The food is amazing! Everything we tried was exceptional, and that's no exaggeration! I read reviews about the broasted chicken and was not disappointed! My husband had the Iowa pork chop. It was wrapped around with bacon and so tender. This is one place you need to experience again and again! Well worth the trip to Balltown!
