This is a pleasant and quiet spot, but it feels a bit stuffy and could benefit from some fresh air.

We are regular visitors to Hythe and have a coffee and nibble before doing the high street. Whilst the staff are ok, the place itself is worn and grubby. It could do with a good refurb and clean from top to bottom. The tables are sticky, very often uncleared from previous customers and greasy looking and the toilet is invariably not working. Most of the time the selection of pastries and cakes is depleted, rarely any croissants etc. The wait time is often too long. It’s not a satisfying experience.

We waited in line for 15 minutes, with only one person in front of us. The girl at the counter was coughing into her hands and touching the drinks. We ultimately decided to leave the restaurant because we were not satisfied with the situation.
