If you want that quality and that food and service there’s no better place to go Rick
The worst Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. The chips are so thick and hard it hurts your jaw to chew them. The salsa is picante with hot sauce added at best. The fajitas are $20 and come with 3 prepackaged tortillas. Queso was okay, but it’s literally pink. They then added a service charge for chips and salsa, despite the fact we had all ordered the Mexican dinners that made us qualify for free chips and salsa. They did take it off after reviewing the meals, but the server putting it on there was just a ploy to get an extra few dollars. The quality of the steak on the fajitas was literally the cheapest beef available. Chewy and silver skin.
I have too many good things to say about this place! Not enough time or patience to type it all out with my fat thumbs on a phone keyboard. First, the red tacos are amazing. I can’t describe the crispy yet fluffy shell that is deep fried to perfection. The chips and salsa are spectacular. The main dish I tried was also amazing ! All so good. I am in town for two more days and will eat there at least two more times! My wife requested that I bring home chips for her to try, they are way thicker than any other chip I have ever tried. Everything made on sight and fresh. We had the pleasure of meeting Vickie the owner, she is a delight!! She talked to us about the history of the restaurant, and the history of her family. Worth driving up from DFW to eat here! I have a new favorite Mexican restaurant in the whole wide world!!
Actually pretty good! had the red taco and enchilada. Good prices, friendly people, cute local atmosphere
