Ice Cream Shoppe - Shelton

I took my grandkids there for a treat, but the staff behind the counter seemed uninterested and unfriendly. The atmosphere felt quite impersonal, and I found the ice cream to be a bit overpriced.

Always wonderful to support a local business. Even better to support when they have delicious ice cream and abundant selections to choose from. Always friendly service, with owners that care about their customers. Glad to have them here in Shelton!

On a hot summer day, my mom and I were driving back from a long hike when we passed by an ice cream shop. I have to say, I've had some great ice cream cones before, but this shop offers some of the most delicious homemade ice cream I've ever had in Connecticut. I ordered a classic vanilla cone, and it was simply heavenly. I absolutely love this place! If you enjoy ice cream, I highly recommend checking it out. You won't be disappointed!

I ordered a cake, as I've done many times before, asking for it to be frosted completely plain so that I could decorate it myself for my child's birthday. This time, I specifically requested a flat cake with only green frosting and no additional decorations or writing. Unfortunately, what I received was not what I ordered. The employee contacted the manager, who offered me two options: either accept the incorrect cake at full price or return the next day to pick up the correct one. This left me with no time to decorate the cake myself, as I usually order the cakes the night before to allow for that. There was a clear lack of concern or willingness to resolve the issue. My son was looking forward to a baseball field cake for his 9th birthday, and now I’m in a rush to fix their mistake. Thank you for ruining the celebration. You've lost a long-time customer.

I absolutely love this place! We tried a variety of new ice cream flavors. I bought my first ice cream cake yesterday, and everyone enjoyed it! Plus, my first pumpkin milkshake was out of this world!
