Chaplin - Shelton

Good food. Descent service. Entree took longer than I would want but it was tasty. Cappuccino was cold. Dessert was excellent. Will be going back soon.

Service was excellent. Fast and courteous. The food was very good. Everything came out as ordered and cooked perfection.. it was a little difficult parking, but we eventually found a spot 

This was our first time dining at Chaplin we are Shelton residence we will definitely be back service was amazing food was exceptional I was celebrating my 60th birthday we had a wonderful time

I really wanted to like this place. The servers, the managers and the food runners were all polite, courteous, and efficient. The hostess was unfriendly and drippy. Since she is the first person that you see when you walk in and represents your business, it does not make a good impression. The food was a complete miss. We ordered the pork belly app. Most restaurants render a lot of the fat down so the meat and fat is crispy. This appetizer was 2/3 fat and 1/3 meat, and the fat was soft not crispy. The mussels were served with almost no broth and mussels themselves were chewy and not tasty. When I mentioned this, they offered me some broth, not to remake the whole dish. The fries that accompanied the steak in the steak frites were sopping with oil. The drinks were good and ambience nice, it’s too bad we won’t be returning.

Outstanding service and great food. We always have a nice experience at this restaurant.
