Urban Plantation - Shelbyville

As a local chef with a deep passion for food, I have to say that I'm a big fan of Emmy's. My wife and I stumbled upon it a few weeks ago, and we've made it a point to return every Monday since then. The Nashville Hot is genuinely spicy—definitely not a diluted version for the faint-hearted, which is just what you want! My wife is absolutely in love with the chicken salad sandwich. As for me, I ordered the Ribeye Sandwich, and now I'm tempted to never try anything else; it's a fantastic sandwich, perfectly cooked, and incredibly delicious. If you're not dining at my café, Emmy's is the place to be! Thanks, Chef Chris.

I had a lively experience with the sassy waitress, which made it even more enjoyable. The food was tasty, and the bread pudding was the best I've ever had!

As you can see from my empty plate... it was absolutely FANTASTIC!!! I had the "ruined ****" (I assume this might refer to a specific dish or a playful description). The flavors were incredible. The service was excellent, and the sweet tea was just right. I have no complaints at all, except that I wish I could have kept eating! The food was amazing, and the decor is wonderfully charming. Honestly, I wonder why you would go anywhere else in Shelbyville! For me, unless I'm craving sushi or burritos, I’ll definitely be coming back.
