Awesome little country diner!!!!! Food was perfect!!!!! Service was amazing!!!!!!!! Seemed like the owner and staff knew half the people that came in!!!!! Only downside was the owner said she was wanting to retire in a couple years Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Been several times over the last few years. The food and service is consistently pretty mediocre. The food is better than McDonald's but that's about it. Food is often warm and not hot. Portion sizes are inconsistent. It's cheap, though. Kind of what you'd expect from a small country diner if not slightly worse. The waitresses are often in a bad mood and seem annoyed to have customers come in. They are somewhat attentive, but often seem surly. Sometimes you'll get good service sometimes you won't. Depends on the time of day and their mood, I guess. There have been a couple times I went here and just felt out of place and unwelcome. On the other hand, I often see friendly banter between the extremely redneck regulars and the staff so, maybe your mileage will vary.

I just arrived and placed my order. The staff are very friendly, and there's parking available for horse trailers, which is a nice touch. It's a charming country diner. I ordered the hamburger steak lunch special. Unfortunately, the food was lukewarm; it wasn't hot. The mashed potatoes were delicious, but the portion was quite small, which was a bit disappointing. Although the food tasted good, it definitely could have been warmer. I got there just before two, right before they closed at 2:00, but I must say the waitress and the owner were very nice and friendly.
