Gyro Cafe - Shelby Township

Gyros with good portion of meats served to me hot, was delicious(I myself will need to ask for extra tzeki to go with all the meat). Well done fries were hot crispy good also.

Some of the best authentic Greek food I've had. Especially the gyros! The owner Russ honestly treats you like your one of his friends. It's a great atmosphere, with nice music, and absolutely terrific food! The bathrooms were really clean, as well as the entire place. You can really tasty the quality inn the food here. I recommend this place to anyone that likes Mediterranean food, but prefers Greek food. You won't be sorry!

Best gyro I've had. They are huge and the meat is so flavorful, I love them! I also really enjoy the tomato sauce that comes on the vegetables. I was hooked to these gyros instantly and am definitely a repeat customer!

Perhaps the best Gyro's ever! Seriously, the gyro's here are huge, the size of a large sub or a hoagie, and that's with a flat pita bread. A very generous portion of meat supported by the tomatoes and onions, with a tasty tzatziki sauce. The spinach pie was thick with a good mix and a nicely crumbly and crispy dough, it kept it together but you didn't need to saw through it. The rice pudding was very tasty too. The owner was exceedingly friendly and talked to us and it's clear that he both cares and gets the best ingredients because he never wants anyone to walk away hungry from his restaurant and that's a certainty; if I wasn't starving, the gryo would've been a fine meal of itself, with the spinach pie, it was a feast. The only downside at all was that if you had told me that it was our waitress's first day without supervision, I would've believed you. She didn't do anything bad or wrong, but it was just the flow that was off; she asked if we were ready to order after looking at the menu's for about 12 seconds, one of our party dropped a fork and it took a while to get a replacement, because she also brought refills and more all together. However, she also offered us rice pudding on the house, so even the service had a pretty severe upside to it too. Honestly, I'm shocked that this is such a hidden gem, more people should be visiting there if you like gyro's!

Great place for snacking lunch. Reasonable prices Great food and real Gyro's not like other Greek places. So come in and check them out and you will stop in again. My rating of this Resturant is 98% out of 100% and I will come back again and again.
