Blue Rock - Shelburne Falls

The food and service from Ashley were outstanding! The ribs and Gorgonzola fondue are absolutely incredible, and the salted caramel gelato is delightful! You definitely have to check it out!

The menu is fantastic, featuring frequent changes and always delivering delicious dishes. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the view from the deck is stunning. They use local ingredients and offer a selection of local beers.

This charming restaurant boasts stunning views of the Deerfield River and Salmon Falls. It's advisable to make reservations since the place has limited operating hours and seating. Be sure to arrive in Shelburne Falls between 5:30 and 8:30 PM. The food was fantastic, and the service was exceptional. The restaurant also features a separate bar area apart from the dining room.

The food was outstanding—we tried a large salad, halibut, and ribs. The halibut was perfectly cooked, juicy yet not underdone, and incredibly fresh, complemented by a light lemon sauce. It came with delicious mashed potatoes and a piece of roasted corn. Others we spoke with raved about the Chicken Stadler and the Mexican dishes. The service was flawless—friendly and efficient. The drinks were delightful, with plenty of fresh mint in the mojito, for example. The wine list was thoughtfully curated. The ambiance was fantastic; it felt lively with many people enjoying themselves, yet the acoustics were good enough that we didn’t overhear others.

We were seated at the bar and given menus, but the bartender completely overlooked us. The bar wasn't busy, even though there were reserved seats, yet we waited for 20 minutes without being offered a drink. We ultimately decided to leave, and it's unfortunate because we won't be returning. This experience makes me think the food probably isn't worth it either. The service was disappointing!
