Gastronomic teufel. This restaurant is not as good as I remembered. I used to enjoy the meals here in the past, but it seems like it is under new management now. The menu is the same, but the food quality has definitely declined. Sadly, the food we ordered was not pleasant and left us feeling unwell the next day. The dishes seemed to be lacking in flavor and quality. I remember a dish called Marie-Mont-Starter that used to be delicious, but now the shrimp seemed small and bland. It's a shame that the food did not live up to my expectations.

The service was poor and the food was average. I started with stuffed mushrooms, which were good but overpriced. My partner had garlic bread, which seemed to be just a store-bought pizza base and didn't taste homemade. My main course, chicken Diane, had overcooked meat, a watery sauce, frozen fries, and a small side salad, not worth the £15 price tag. The service was lacking, as empty jars were taken from our table without us asking for refills. Overall, this restaurant may be okay for a drunken meal, but otherwise, it falls short.

I was disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant. I had been here a few years ago and had a good experience, but this time was not the same. We arrived early, around 7:30pm on a Saturday, and while the appetizers were good, the main dishes that my friend and I ordered were not enjoyable. We had to send them back to the kitchen and ended up ordering something else, which was just okay. The atmosphere was also affected by a loud and rowdy group celebrating a birthday who seemed to have come straight from the nearby pub. Despite the kind apology from the manager and the reduced bill, we couldn't wait to leave. It may be a while before I give this place another try.

Not the same as I remember. Oh dear, I was really looking forward to this place and on arrival remembered all the good meals I had here in the years gone by. Doest look liked its run by the same folk but the place is the same and so is the menu!. Pity the food wasnt. Went to the early sitting with friends to enjoy, and unfortunately the food we chose was not nice. We even felt rubbish the next day as if we had been eating chinese full of MSG!! Dont know what they were doing with the cooking but it didnt agree with me and hubby at all. I remember the Marie Monte starter which used to have big juicy prawns and musrooms laced in garlic. more like tiny shrimps out of a freezer bag nowadays.Hubby had Pizza which was served on a cold plate so ended up sending back to be re heated. The place started filling up later with the hen parties etc so my guess is if you are partying and drunk, you will probably have a great night here. And wont know what to blame the dicky stomach on the next day. my advice is Dont bother, take a trip out to Paulos in Dinnington for similar restaurant and have a lovely evening there instead.
