The Dore Moor Inn - Sheffield

I have dined at this restaurant with my family for the second time and I cannot fault the service. Our previous visit was on a busy Sunday at lunchtime, but we still enjoyed our meal. This time we went for lunch on a Saturday and there were only a few other diners, which was perfect for us. We sat at a lovely oval table, which made it easy for us to converse with one another. The meals were well-presented and everyone was happy with the food and prices. We required wheelchair access for one member of our party, which was accommodated without any issues. Overall, it was a pleasant family lunch and we would definitely consider returning in the future.

This restaurant is always a reliable choice for a delicious meal. However, on Sunday it was quite busy and our meals arrived only lukewarm. The food still tasted excellent, but it quickly became cold. We informed the attentive staff, who kindly offered us free coffees, but we would have preferred our meals to be served hot.

When we arrived at the restaurant, we were surprised to find that our table was not available despite booking it in advance. It seems that the restaurant did not receive a notification about our reservation.
