A wonderful treat for Dad's 98th birthday! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the pricing was fair. It's a popular spot, so be sure to make a reservation well in advance. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with a flat entrance and plenty of space to reach the tables. Price range per person is £20-30. I give the food and service a 5 out of 5.
We arrived at 12:50pm on Friday and found plenty of empty tables. Unfortunately, the free Wi-Fi was not working. The menu was extensive and included options like mussels and Thai curry dishes. The meals were generous in portion size and delicious. After our meal, we also enjoyed a cake and coffee for £6.75, which we thought was worth considering. Overall, the price per person was between £20-30. We rated the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5.
The staff at this restaurant are attentive and friendly. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is perfect. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as a 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Steak and Ale Pie.
Family anniversary meal. Firstly the pub is a very nice place and the atmosphere was lovely. Unfortunately the experience wasn’t great for a number of reasons. 1. The gentlemen taking the food order got 2 meals wrong which then incurred a wait for 2 of our party whilst the correct meals were prepared. 2. We had to change one of the drinks as it had gone off. (Pipes not cleaned) 3. The main meals presented looked very nice however the pie was vey salty. Condiments on the menus were not brought with dishes as advertised and we had to ask. All in all a very nice place but unfortunately due to our experience we won’t be returning and would not recommend.
