The accommodations were good, the service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. Everything was going wonderfully until the bartender overheard us discussing model trains and compared me to Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory. For the record, I find model trains incredibly fascinating and thrilling. My evenings are spent calculating railway timetables for a model of the Hill and Barnsley Railway branch line, complete with a realistic signalling system. While others may prefer events like Les Mis in the West End or Taylor Swift concerts, nothing beats a Saturday evening for me. Even my ex-girlfriend can attest to my passion for model trains.

I made a reservation for 8 family members at this restaurant (no children) after attending a nearby funeral. We arrived early and found the doors closed, but a kind lady who I think was the owner (I should have asked) saw us waiting in the rain and let us in. We used to dine here many years ago before it became a hotel, and it was nice to see the changes while still preserving the original charm. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic! Our order was taken promptly and all 8 meals were served at the same time. The dishes were not kept warm or overcooked, and everything was delicious. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely return for a happier occasion.

Our native for over 20 years. recently it went back, but now has a new leasing. it has been renovated and is now a very comfortable, warm and friendly environment. the new menu is exciting and letting the breakfast taste, we can recommend it! please give this beautiful pub a visit, they will not be disappointed!

We visited a family-friendly restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and had a much improved experience. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant was rejuvenating. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning.

The norfolk arms looks great after they have been renovated. the menu has been updated with a great selection and eating is excellent, we loved it and will certainly be back. this is now our pub of the 1st choice when friends and family visit and we love to eat it.
