Handmade Burger Co. - Sheffield

My friend and I came here for a quick bit before shopping: although it was a Saturday, we were seated more or less straightaway. After taking a while to consider all my options (the number of different burgers is fab I went for the Peanut...Butter Bacon. There wasn’t all that much peanut butter, but I enjoyed, and it filled a gap. Everything about this visit was ‘Very Good’. I reckon I’d go for a Brie Cranberry next time!

Awesome place. Excellent service and the food is beautiful. Was so full after having pulled pork burger and pig fries... Couldn't resist apple pie for desert though. Deffo going back.

Staff seemed friendly at the beginning to entice you into visiting the restaurant. However, the moment you sit down, this changes and you are left to yourself. When you eventually grasp the attention of the staff, they will forget what you’ve asked for. Don’t bother...with getting a refillable drink as the staff don’t come around to refill it, in the two hours we were trapped in there, we had two refills, those of which were in the last fifteen minutes. For what you get, the food is expensive too.

My year old wanted a Five Guys burger so we took him there first and then onto this place for myself and partner to eat Cue very slow to go down even though the place was around capacity After been in the cue...for minutes we got to the front only for the waitress to say it would be between minutes and hour for our order to come! I believe she said this to deter people from coming in as by now it was obvious they were short on waiting staff.The food was ordered and drinks arrived after minutes minus my glass of wine which I had to ask for minutes later.Food arrived in a reasonable time but the presentation and quality was lacking with bread past it's best Won't be calling here again should have gone to Five Guys as they know hope to deliver customer satisfaction every time.

After disappointment with the attitude from the lass at TGI's, the staff at The Handmade Burger Co. across the Court were an absolute delight!! Jess was our server and she, along with the two additional gentlemen that we dealt with were sincere, attentive and jovial....Spot on customer service at such a busy time!! The fact that the food was absolutely gorgeous made the experience extra special. We will be returning and would recommend the Venison burger and the dirty fairground burger!! I'm now off to write a review for TGI to thank their server for driving us across the Court!!!
