Cavells - Sheffield

Ordered coffee cake the fudge cake was rock hard off it had obviously been there much longer than sell by date.i complained was given antother choice which wasn 't much better. As we were leaving I looked to see if the remaining fudge cake had been removed it hadn 't. When we left my wife told me that another couple had complained about their breakfast that the going waitress had thrown them in the bin.my wife had spoken to the young girl as she was upset the boss said to my wife "what did you say to her? My wife didn 't tell him as it was private but he obviously didn 't like it. I would never go back again a complete waste of money

I visit cavells quite often with friends, and where usually the food and drink match our expectations but this week it didn't. the fishfinger sandwiches were what it said fishfinger sandwich a baguette with 1 fishfinger no butter on the bread and no salad it was very dry I wouldn't choose that again in a hurry.

Our family had breakfast here it was marvellous. We'd originally planned to eat the Bankers Draft but there were a gang of foul mouthed men who led to us spending our £40 at Cavells which my daughter recommended. Well worthwhile, nice establishment, pleasant staff, decent menu.

A friend of mine said hello to me as I was walking past and food was delivered to them, the boss told me that I could not continue the conversation with my friend because of the food. So unfriendly! Will not go back.

Today, four of us visited the restaurant and all tried the Sunday roast. We each ordered the same dish, which included roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, peas, sweetcorn, and carrots. It was a delicious meal that we all enjoyed.
