Bilals - Sheffield

The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and they were even open on Christmas without charging inflated prices! A big thank you to Bilal for welcoming us to the restaurant on Christmas Day. The cook prepared a fantastic meal while the staff took care of everything else, making for a wonderful evening.

Also included was an onion bhaji, which was hands down one of the best I've ever tasted. It was incredibly flavorful and wonderfully moist (I know, I usually dislike that word, but it's the best way to describe it!). I grew up in South London, lived in Essex, and now reside on the Isle of Wight, but I've never found another restaurant that serves this dish at such an outstanding standard. With my last night here tomorrow, it looks like I'll be enjoying Indian food for two consecutive days!

We had a great curry night with friends! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The fact that it's a bring-your-own-wine-and-beer event really added to the experience. We'll definitely be returning!

After moving to sheffield I tried many Indians out, after about 6 or 7 I found bilal’s and hasn’t been anywhere since. they know their things, nice eating each time, I'm a hard critic, so if they go somewhere, it's their own fault!
