Race Brook Lodge - Sheffield

The property is stunning, featuring beautiful grounds perfect for strolling. There's an outdoor pool and a restaurant on-site. The rooms are designed in a cozy cottage style. I visited as part of a group team-building event, and I must say, the staff were exceptional. I especially want to highlight the cooks and kitchen staff for their outstanding work. I can definitely see this venue being ideal for a wedding. As for the food and drinks, they were fantastic!

I first discovered Race Brook in 2013, and I've always loved the atmosphere there. I just went back this week and brought along a friend who had never been to RBL before. She absolutely loved it! If you appreciate nature and a relaxed vibe, RBL is the perfect spot. There are also many great places to explore nearby!

As for safety, I felt entirely secure there; we even left our room unlocked while we went to breakfast, which is something we never do when traveling. In terms of walkability, we hiked to a nearby waterfall, which was a fantastic way to start the morning. The food and drinks were excellent as well—definitely try the best burger and the delicious homemade yogurt!

Wow! We decided to take a last minute motorcycle trip to Great Barrington with no agenda and booked a room here. This place is absolutely beautiful with such hospitable hosts. We did a late check in and while Rosa was working on our room she encouraged us to go to the tavern for a drink. Cocktails were delicious and the bartender was very warm and charming. The place had such a unique and rustic feel. Our room is spacious and cozy. No TV which is perfect. Outdoor amenities are wonderful. My hubby and I spent time relaxing in the outdoor lounge. I love it here and will come back!!

First time visiting RBL and it was all things magical. Historic, charming, beautiful natural setting with a fire pit, several seating areas, pool, sauna. The staff is friendly, the vibe is very cool. Highly recommend.
