Le Moque-tortue - Shediac

Since we already had the wine and were quite hungry, we ordered something else: mock turtle soup and a chicken burrito, which turned out to have just a few tiny pieces of chicken. Starving, we decided to get three desserts—key lime pie, crème brûlée, and carrot cake. However, none of the desserts were fresh; in fact, the cake and pie were as hard as rocks, likely frozen. Our server was unfriendly and unhelpful, leaving us disappointed. The place had a nice atmosphere, but I wouldn't recommend it for a good meal. We ended up spending $80 and had to stop for food on our way home.

Our dining experience was outstanding! We thoroughly enjoyed the Lobster Quadrille, which was deliciously seasoned without being overwhelming, allowing us to savor every last spoonful. The service was exceptional—thank you, Michelle! This charming little restaurant is also visually captivating. For those with dietary restrictions, there are plenty of gluten-free options available.

The decoration of this restaurant is very special, the owner used a lot of nostalgic items to decorate. The atmosphere is great. But the quality of the food is very average. The seafood chowder we ordered was very watery, not thick at all. We also ordered BBQ chicken nachos with no chicken on it, just very little cheese and a small amount of BBQ sauce, and the nachos were not crispy or even a little soft. The rest of the food was bland and not hot. If you are looking for the atmosphere, this is a restaurant worth trying, but for the food, I think it needs to be reconsidered.

Just came home from dinner at one of the most unique restaurants I’ve eaten at. It’s certainly a feast for the eyes! There isn’t a bare wall in the place, so much to look at. While waiting for your meal, there’s games galore to pass the time! So fun! Our meals were really good. The vegan balsamic and tomato-garlic pasta was full of flavour and my husband’s lobster club was also delicious according to him.
