Mcalister's Deli - Shawnee

Service was good, but this location was severely understaffed and very busy around lunch. Food tasted good, but the wrap I ordered was subpar compared to normal. It tasted good, but for the price the serving was disappointing. It only had two piecesof meat on it and was falling apart.

I didn't have a great experience at McAlister's this time. There was no ice available, so I had to settle for hot tea. The Harvest Chicken Salad Sandwich was mostly lettuce, with very little chicken salad. The tomato was just the green core, making it quite hard. There was no pickle on the side either. Additionally, the register scanner failed to read my app, so I didn't earn any points for my visit. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the entire experience.

This was my first visit to the restaurant. You place your order at the counter and then choose a seat. They offer a variety of baked sandwiches, salads, and soups, along with a selection of their signature iced tea or fountain drinks. The waitstaff was extremely attentive. The food choices were unique and set apart from the typical sandwich shop.

We usually enjoy dining here, but I was somewhat disappointed this evening. I was charged $3.49 for a kids meal to eat in, instead of the advertised price of $1.99. When I inquired about it, I was informed that prices had increased, but they hadn't updated the signs yet. If the prices are already in your system, why not change the signs? The food was excellent, but the unexpected price change left me unsatisfied. I even asked to speak with a manager, but no one came out to address my concerns. Honestly, I'm not sure if we will return.

Fresh and good. Spicy southwest sandwich was great and mac and cheese was what you'd expect. Potato spud was perfect
