Beautiful burned ends: delicate, only the correct amount of fat, good texture and good tasting bark. Light on the sauce, but a small smoke of extra sauce was all that was necessary. Sweet potato beakers in a waffle style were perfect – directly for a crispy outside (not cooked over, though), pleasant texture inside and perfectly salted... no sauce needed. Divided some 3-cheese Mac balls for an appetizer... amazing

A great lunch at the Blind Box BBQ. The burned ends are some of the best I had. the onion straws were overwhelming and the homemade chips were crispy and delicious. You're one of the best restaurants in Kansas City. The grill nachos are unique and very tasteful.

If you are in Shawnee mission, this is a must to eat place. Every bite was amazing from onion to baked beans and every delicious smoked meat. For exceptional service, ask Colby to be your server.

The food is delicious, good portions! The corn bakery was amazing and so are the wings. Our waitress Evie was very attentive!

Great stop for lunch with the family. Food, drinks and service (thanks, Evie) was all great. Will definitely return. In particular, the Smoked Spin Dip, BBQ Wontons and Burnt Ends were all fantastic. The Apple Butter Old Fashioned is a fun twist on a familiar drink.
