Abuelitas Ii - Shawnee

This restaurant is fantastic. We have ordered lunch for the office twice and it was amazing! I would highly recommend it.

This is the best restaurant in Shawnee. My family has been coming here for years. The food is delicious and the service is excellent!

After visiting the Chickasaw Cultural Centre, we decided to stop for dinner tonight. It was a pretty good experience. Raegan enjoyed her shrimp cocktail and also tried some of Erin's chicken nachos. Ian ordered chicken soft tacos, but received what appeared to be fried tacos instead. However, he still enjoyed them. I ordered a ground beef chimi that came with Friijolen and roasted potatoes, which I really liked. The whole meal was delicious. The iced tea was great and the service was excellent. Our bill came out to $42.46. Overall, it was a good meal and I would definitely like to go back.

Best Mexican food I ate in a LONG. I've tried some in the last few months and that's THE BEST. The Queso is amazingly delicious creamy, beautiful salty balance. It's fantastic. You can try everything. I love Cilantro and that was the best to taste notes of Cilantro with the rest of the ingredients.... The balance of salt and taste is wonderful. The chips were crispy and not excessively oily. The tortillas were soft and kept soft during our meal. Every piece of food tasted good. Everything was what it should be. Taste of every food we had was delicious. The margaritas are cheap and it was GOOD. Last but not least, a scream from our waiter, Carlos. AMAZING Service. No regret in this Mexican restaurant. LOVED.

Not only was it some of the best service I've had in quite some time, it was some of the best food I've had in some time. It's absolutely worth the mile or so you have to drive South off of 1-40 to get here. From the fresh made tortillas to the phalanx of vegetables that comes with the veggie fajitas to the margarita, everything was top notch!
