MeMenTo - Shawinigan

We were in the region to do some hiking in the Mauricie National Park. We found this restaurant on TripAdvisor and decided to try it.We had the table d'hôte menu which included salad and tea/coffee with dessert which were good. The pasta dishes we had were very tasty, generous portions, served piping hot! The restaurant was not too busy so the service with one waitress working was fine and we got our meals from the kitchen as soon as they were ready.We were not rushed, took our time eating each course, talking, sipping wine... It is a nice restaurant and we had a lovely Wednesday evening!

Very long service, waiting for 45 minutes to have our plates. We had to ask for bread 30 minutes after ordering. Speciality in paste but unfortunately mine was simply not eatable cat too much garlic. very bad because the resto is well located, the look is supper and warm decorations but it lacks a bit of management for what related to customer service 4 out of 10 for us

We went as a group for work and had whole restaurant for ourselves. About 75 total people. Food was decent and service great for the number of people but should have had more waitresses... we were offered a limited menu in advance but even then alot of us had finished eating and some had not even been served...it was about fifty fifty for comments on food...some loved it some didn't...

I love this place without pretention. Simple but always excellent dishes! One bring your wine, for me it's always winning! But this one is really perfect! a nice simple atmosphere as much between friends, family, couple (although it is not always super intimate if the restaurant is full, but it is not unpleasant). Super courteous service! this is my favorite restaurant in my city! :) very affordable prices for the kind of menu.

This reataurant is on a commercial street that has much to offer in the way of dining foremost! Very nice restaurant with an excellent choice of music being played continually in the background , just low enough to not disturb and loud enough to enjoy!Had the table d'hôte ( which saved you a few dollars rather than ordering a la carte ) with a caeser salad a escargots à la bourguignonne to and we both had the Lasagna and for desert the cheese cake dish and crème brûlée and a coffee and tea..Service was great and a small plate of warm baguette slices with butter and oil/vinegar was a pleasure..Everything was well enjoyed and the lasagna portions were quite large, the caesar salad could use a bigger plate with more dressing and lettuce broken up more so as to toss it and get a good coating on all of it...also the cheese cake was not as expected and it should state that it is not in cake form as we all know ! All in all it was a nice place and I am sure we will go again and try something different!
