Harry's On Carverton - Shavertown

Harry's on Carverton yesterday with my wife. I was very happy with the experience. The dining room is small with two tables and a large counter to eat. The service was good and the family that ran the business was very friendly and made for a relaxing environment. The menu is not chock full of decisions that is a good thing. It offers a good selection of dishes without overwhelming you with too many choices. I had the meat loaf and my wife had the Kielbasi-Mac cheese. Both were excellent and the portions were right for us. The only recommendation would be to increase the size of the air conditioning system. It was a bit warm in the dining room. We will definitely eat again or use their take-out service.

Great onion soup. We had the meat leaf that was wonderful, and the BBQ pulled pork and Gouda pizza. Food was delicious, portions were plentiful and we were filled. We managed to press in homemade desserts. Warm apple cake a la fashion and a huge oatmeal cookie with chocolate and peanut butter chips. Nice friendly atmosphere. Very pleasant.

Food is consistent and good. Soups are great. Wish the menu was easier to access online or on their Facebook page.

Great little place we just discovered. Great food, good service. I have some chicken pots to go and they're delicious.

The roasted veggie sandwich with pesto mayo is delicious.
