Miss Lodemas Tea Room - Sharon Springs

This is the first tea room I've visited that doesn't offer gluten-free options. I've been to numerous tea rooms, from here to California. I've tried to reach out on their Facebook page about this issue, but I haven't received any response. It's really disappointing because Sharon Springs takes pride in being welcoming to a diverse range of customers. I often visit with my sister, who sews for one of the local businesses, and we would have gone there frequently. I hope that one day they will expand their menu to cater to members of the community with Celiac disease.

We had a delightful visit on Sunday, despite the rain during the Garden Party. Our sandwiches were delicious, and Ron was a fantastic host. We enjoyed the music from the player grand piano and appreciated all the restoration work he is doing at the hotel. We look forward to returning again!

I believe this is a fantastic opportunity for the area to revive some of the things that have been missing—bringing people together, fostering good conversations, building friendships, and showing love for the community.

I can't express enough how much I enjoyed my visit yesterday. I absolutely fell in love with this place. I was welcomed with a warm smile. Ron was incredibly informative and hospitable, taking the time to share details about the hotel and other local businesses. I'm definitely looking forward to visiting again soon for Victorian weekend. I can't wait!
