This place is wonderful for kids. Such a lovey garden with slides and swings and toys. And the staff is so nice, well above the local average I thought. Food is cheap (6 euros for gnocchi) and quite tasty, especially the rotolo was a lot tastier than many I’ve had in the area. Beautiful little shop inside with jams, preserves, cheese and meat deli counter..flowers..veggies... farm onsite with cows, goats, pigs etc.. all in all wonderful!

We always go there with family and friends and we always eat very well. Everything is home made and all the dishes( from antipasti to desserts) are yummy. It s very laid back , relaxing and cosy.the owner and the waiters are nice and friendly. They always try to make you comfortable. Very child friendly as well. The last but not the least is the price: absolutely reasonable. Portions are big . Try their gnocchi with goulash, and gnocchi Di susine!! Highly recommended !!

We were a party of 10, had dinner there and enjoyed it very much. They have a very nice variety of local dishes, generous portions, tasty food and decent prices. The service was good and friendly. They have a small playground, helpful since we came with 2 young children. Since it's up in the Carso, it was pleasant to sit outside, although the July heat in Trieste.

We got this place recommended by local people. Since the first visit we always come at least once here, every time when we are in the area. It is a authentic and rustic place. The Jota Soup and the Gnocci are famous. The place is not fancy at all. They just serve straight and honest carsian food. They produce their own cheese from the milk of goats and cows. We recommend this place warmly
