Cafe Mezzanotte - Severna Park

Disappointed with dinner/lunch today. The eggplant parm had one slice of eggplant and the pasta sauce tasted like tomato soup. Two other adults were not pleased with their dinners. Service left something to be desired. The young man was very nice but never returned to see if we needed more refills of water. The children in our party had chicken fingers which they thought had too much breading. My daughter loved the crab with pasta, my salad was good but I assumed it would have lettuce and did not. My son lobed his veal parm which had real sauce and not tomato soup. At bill time we never received the itemized printout which would have showed the 18% gratuity added for a large party. All things considered, we have decided not to return.

I had linguine with meat sauce. It was okay but not great. Perhaps heavy on basil? And the noodles seemed heavy, overcooked and more layered than loose, almost like lasagna. I doubt I'd repeat this meal. The bread was very good and the service was very good.

Great food and great service! They always take care of you

Went to a CE dinner last night, had one of the best steaks of my life!! The Filet Mignon was out of this world good, and perfectly cooked!! Also, the wines were very, very tasty. And the server who took care of us was outstanding I wish I had gotten his name. He took care of the entire group on his own, food and drinks!! Quick, attentive, polite I was very impressed!! Will take hubby some time for a big occasion he would also love the filet!! I will say the interior of the place is a bit drab, I ll have to check if they still have outdoor seating (we were sat outside for brunch many years ago)
