The hotel is located for both business and leisure, and offers free parking for guests. the facilities are good, with a garden and a separate outside area and the rooms are good size and comfortable. of course, as an older traditional hotel, there is no elevator to the upper floors and no air conditioning in the room, although a portable ventilator was in the garderobe. the menu was diverse and interesting and there are also a lot of alternative options in the environment.
Good beer, ipa, abbots, peroni, san miguel. eating is also good, with offers some nights. the staff is friendly and helpful. hotel rooms are tired. it has undergone many changes in the course of the years. the terrace and the garden are great in summer. as bar is good
We had a pleasant evening in a nice room, with complimentary parking in a central location. Unfortunately, the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon at breakfast were not good and the bread was very chewy. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. Nearby activities did not include a recommended Sicilian restaurant as the food was inedible, especially the carbonara. Overall, the rooms were a 5, service a 4, and the location a 5. A highlight of the hotel was its peaceful atmosphere.
The Kings Arms is located in the central part of Westerham, in Market Square right on the High Street. The restaurant has both an internal room and external areas, equipped with tables and umbrellas that can be used on beautiful sunny days. It is the typical English pub, with tables, chairs and high wooden stools, where the locals meet to have a chat while drinking a beer. We decided to have lunch, ordering: 2 Sirloin accompanied by a black pepper sauce, fried potatoes, fried onion rings, tomato and vegetables. We also ordered an Amstel beer and a Cider. Good meat, especially if covered with black pepper sauce. The cider beer is also excellent! Prices in the local average. Nearby activities: The restaurant is in Market Square, the most central point of Westerham and therefore close to all the local commercial activities. Food drinks: Good value for money, at least for what we ordered.
