Sei Ramen - Setauket- East Setauket

I would strongly advise against ordering from this restaurant, unless you want to waste your time and gas. I placed an order through Grubhub and when I attempted to pick up my food, they claimed they had already taken care of my order because they were too busy with other customers. The order was never canceled on my end and Grubhub still charged me for it. When I called to discuss the issue, the staff told me to just wait, as if I hadn't spent $50 for no food and wasted gas driving there. I placed my order at 7pm and didn't receive it until 8:40pm. Overall, the service was unacceptable. I cannot speak to the taste of the food, but based on this experience alone, I have no desire to eat here again.

The vegetable ramen at this restaurant is fantastic. It's hard to find a vegetarian broth that rivals the flavor of a pork-based one, but this place nails it. I will definitely be returning for more of their vegetarian ramen. I'm a big fan!

The food and service were both excellent! The fried chicken and tempura were incredibly crispy. Our waiter was very kind and attentive. The prices were reasonable.

The broth is truly lacking flavor! It's got so much potential, but it's just not hitting that delicious comfort-food level that some of the other ramen places do. I got the dancing spicy ramen.

Best ramen place in Stony Brook! The cook is Japanese. Takeout is as great as dining in.
