It's a fabulous place! in hotel comfort with friendly staff.

The self service restaurant lets itself down as the food is put out well in advance of the dining room opening. Food is kept over warm water but this is so inefficient that even the moment the dining room opens the food is barely warm. Cold plates and long queues for each item result in a tepid meal. This is a great shame as the food itself is very good and varied. Service is impersonal.

Stayed here with Crystal on a half board package. At dinner: food plentiful, and as well presented as a self service buffet could be expected to be. Plenty of meat options, but rather light on fish. Breakfasts have plenty of choice too. Word of warning: don't order the wine unless you want to pay £25 per bottle for average quality wines. Hotel and restaurant staff friendly, polite and helpful.

Lovely family owned hotel, warm, inviting, friendly and relaxing. Second time of staying and absolutley no complaints

I had the pleasure of staying in this original alpin hotel for a week on a last ski week in March 2022. the hotel was booked in the frame of a package and as a three-star hotel I have set my expectations accordingly, hoping that it would be warm and comfortable to the pists. both expectations were easily met and so much more. at the arrival we were met by a friendly receptionist who checked us efficiently and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. our room was comfortable and clean with a good bathroom and sufficient wardrobe space for two people ski for a week. the hotel is good for the pists and the arrangement with a local ski rental shop where skis can be saved is a fantastic bonus, which means skis and boots do not need to be worn daily too and by the hotel. eating was very good and plentiful with a series of choices every day and a good variety throughout the week (the suppers were especially good). the staff was also super friendly. so, although this hotel is listed as three stars, the service and the food we enjoyed were good over this level and I would absolutely not have any hesitation to stay here again and recommend it for others to look for a great small hotel in a favorable location in sestriere. many thanks to all in the hotel that made our trip so pleasant.
