Gula Do Meko - Sesimbra

I would rather call this place a fine dining as the prices are quite higher than in other places around, but the food is worth it. We've had a great lobster, the service was quite ok too. The only problem, there is some kind of...mess with their working hours, so, do book the place several days in advance

Such good food. If you don’t visit this restaurant, you are really missing out on a great food experience. Knowledgeable, friendly waiting staff, outstanding food, in a wonderful location. Just go there, enjoy it, then write the review.

Sorry this is in English. We've known Praia do Meco for quite a long time but were only able to enjoy Mania do Peixe's terrace last October. Great meal, friendly service and the best swordfish around ! Not to mention their Bola de bolacha and...the great view on the roaring waves.

No service whatsoever. It took two hours before we had some food on the table and I was sick before going to bed. REALLY TERRIBLE. Shellfish was off, and the Cataplana fish was frozen. Horroroso. Sin servicio. Tardaron dos horas en traer la comida a...la mesa y me puse enfermo antes de acostarme. UN HORROR. El marisco estaba pasado y el pescado de la cataplana era congelado y horrible.

Just off the beach of Praia do Meco, this place offers nice views and fantastic sunsets. I was in town with a team for a competition and we had events here twice during the week where we took over the entire restaurant for the evening....The restaurant offered several dishes that were all quite good and they did a great job at keeping everything stocked for everyone.
