I have been coming to sers for many years and have tried to eat in chez rosette many paintings without success, except in two places when the OPEN sign actually meant what it said. in the other night (mid October) I was successful. but I was the only client at the place that can accommodate up to 40 places. So, first: a reservation is absolutely obligatory, and even that does not guarantee a perfect culinary experience, at least in the next season. for example: in the other night I had put my heart on a bowl of her garbure (traditional pyrene soup,) the one has to try in every skin pyrenees restaurant. but when I ordered it, everything I got was a hit of the head. no garbure in this night because I'm the only diner and the recipe is complicated and time-consuming and makes a big amount, etc. So I swallowed my disappointment and ordered a glass bordeaux, the gourmand salad and the trout amandine. the salat was not just before the pracht: it was a huge mountain of wonder. In fact, not only the aromen and textures were excellent, but there were even some thermal surprises. there was a bed of very fresh, crunchy greens and tomatensesections with a little vinaiigrette. then, mixed with these cold ingredients was a plentiful serving of gizzards, very warm and juicy delicious. that was a nice salad, but we're not done yet. to add it were two rounds of very warm toast, perfect crunchy and buttery, each wore a thick disc of cold foie gras. oh, what a pretty, beautiful dish, that was! it, and it alone made my evening an unforgettable trip into the pouring joys. concerning the trout: the presentation was good, but the whole fish was quite small, and perhaps a person more adept than I would have filled it right, but for my clumsy attempt there were just too many bones. too, what I did to free was something overdue. next to the fish was a great help from really delicious garlicky kartoffeln. no dessert for this young, but the coffee was delicious. I gave chez rosette 4 stars above all because of previous memories and the incredibly fine salate I had the other night.
We were in sers, so decided to eat on Thursday in our last night. we saw many places in the opposite that were so popped in a few days earlier to check that they were open to dinner and a...table I noticed that there were already a few bookings in the diary and glad that we would not be in an empty restaurant. beautiful that we have booked when the restaurant has proved to be full. all French families and super werehaved children like in Europe, most children seem to be made to behave appropriately in a restaurant. we chose the set menu for 29€, which was great. the food was beautifully presented and excellent. my man started with the garbure a traditional pyrene soup with ham stock, ham and seasonal vegetables. it sounds hard, but it didn't taste hard. I started with dried meat. we had both hammocks as main course and they were delicious, damp and not a bit tough. then followed dessert. great atmosphere and despite not talking good French guests on neighboring tables had a bit of a chat and made us very welcome. I think it's flown from a few that she's in the kitchen, and he does everything that's waiting for it not to be fast in and out, but all the better.
