Il Pomarancio - SERMONETA

Terrible experience. I pray that in these days I brought my guests from abroad to make tastings in different restaurants of the Agropontino, all visited really exceptional, excluding The Pomarancio which is unclassified. Booked dinner two days before, we settled in a room that (being a hundred historical Sermoneta could be a pearl, instead furnished by an aesthetic illiterate, is a really anxious place. Made the first order of appetizers, after about 1 minute we find banged on the table the reach of the first of the table side (with the apologies of young and totally unprepared waiter. As for appetizers, the only acceptable part was but mozzarella and mortadella, my simple bruschettes arrived without the tomato as it was finished (Saturday evening, 21, Italian “restaurant”! Choosing the wine from the paper, we are brought another bottle, told by the waiter who is equal (totally false , and pouring watering the table (boy is forgiven as very young, and no one taught it how to do it. But the terrible part of the evening are the first, all three savoury to be inevitable, sent back to the kitchen slightly less salty (they made the new pasta moving the dressing from the previous dishes. Left almost everything again we asked for the bill. € 100,00!!!! Without any excuse either from the waitress or at least from those who cooked (it certainly can not be called a chef , in any other restaurant that respects, they would have asked the customers why they could improve, but at Il Pomarancio it only counted to parade the hundred euros in exchange for the evening (and the average of the restaurants of ruined area. Do not take water.

A special praise to make to the chef....the dishes are excellent in particular the rabbit really exquisite.... very nice outdoor garden and the very kind guys. To return in winter to admire the interior room...Bravi !!!

We stayed on the eve of Ferragosto: really a unique experience, starting from the dream location, away from the noises of the road and treated in detail. And what about dinner? We still do not find words to describe the love with which chef Matteo prepares his dishes and delighted us with really interesting flavors, from appetizer to dessert all an explosion of flavors. Staff professional and very kind. In the end we can say very good all and a wish to continue on this road that you have undertaken that will surely lead you to greater goals considering also the young age of chef Matteo! Superfluous to say that this experience will certainly be repeated!
