I also really like the tone pot Aubergine, Marmite Lotus root and the monkey-head mushroom dishes. The Yam ring/basket was also very good! I really like that this place serves a lot of food you would find in a standard Chinese restaurant in Malaysia, but it is fully vegetarian (and most if not all vegan, it can be egg/milk in some of the dishes or in the mock meat, but I am still a clear answer because I don't speak any mandarin/cantonese and not all employees understand English). There are pictures from all menu items, so the order is never a problem. And so far all dishes I ordered have been confirmed free of egg/milk. Despite not on the menu, brown rice is sometimes available, but I am not sure that they prepare it regularly, as sometimes they say it is sold out/finished for the day. I have always found the service to be friendly, and although the restaurant is sometimes quiet/empty when you go early in the evening, it is often busy (popular) at noon (mixed rice selection) and later at the evenings. We usually pay around rm40 for 3 a la carte dishes, rice and Chinese tea. I think this is reasonable as the food is cooked to order and the portions are a good size. I have recently come to the habit to take my own Tupperware containers / reusable bags, if I want to remove the staff are very accommodating and very happy to pack the food in your own containers when you ask.
Bad customer service and too expensive. There are several occasions that customers find worms in their food. I personally found a tiny cockroache in my food.
You have the best tonepot chicken rice. But quality is not always consistent.
