Teddy's Diner - Sendai

The Rindspatties were especially a standout, because Ken makes them up from scratch, and the Burger overall was incredibly delicious. I strongly recommend trying the burger of the month with a milkshake and combories/rings.

Had the monthly special, loco moco style, diner style, hash potatoes, top with a fried egg. The burger was beautiful and juicy, pommes and onion rings were crispy and not oily at all. For a price of 1200 yen it is appropriate given the quality of the food you receive. 12/10 will be back. It was great. Additional points for the Diner Style Hash Browns. You don't see that in Japan.

Hungry for something other than Japanese, my friend and I saw a local burger spot in Sendai and found Teddy's diner. The owner, Kenny, recommended his daily special, a cheeseburger with homemade sour cream and chili with one side of frits and onion rings. It sounded good for both of us, so we ordered it. The burger was quite delicious, messy and absolutely delicious. It also has a number of beers and mixed drinks available to clear your thirst or if you just want to relax some time. It also helps that Kenny was friendly and a big guy to chat in English or Japanese! See you next time!

Best burger I’ve had in Japan. Owner is very kind and a professional at what he does. Had the special with onion rings and fries and it did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. 10/10 would go again and highly recommend! Definitely worth the wait to have it freshly prepared!

Great hamburgers! The chef/boss who runs the place is also friendly and gives good suggestions. (Try his wasabi burger for something different! The burger patties are generous and tasty! The restaurant itself only sits a few tables but is fairly cosy and styled as an American diner.
