Southie Coffee - Seminole

In my honest opinion I had high hopes since the reviews were so high. I want to start with the good, the actual food here was made with fresh quality ingredients... Now besides that the actual flavoring of the food we got was bland, we really only tasted the cheese in both of our different burritos. Next the interior, the ambience was a little eerie and quiet because we were the only ones there and the music was at minimal volume. Along with that the pricing is up there for how little you get, I understand that they're local but I can name off a lot of local joints that are much cheaper and a lot better flavor. I didn't try the coffee when I went but I bet that it's pretty good. The staff was okey, I wish they were a little more involved to help when we were figuring out what to eat.. instead of standing there gossiping about people. They also should clean more because the stations were dirty and dusty. This is my honest opinion and I hope to see improvement for them.???? Don't get your hopes to high based on the reviews.

Southie does not disappoint! Been to the shop several times and order for delivery regularly. Their GF vegan lavender cookies are my go-to. The coffee is great as well with many flavor options and milk alternatives!

Great, fun atmosphere and very friendly staff! Cold brew was so good!! They have sugar free options (caramel and vanilla) which was great! The kids loved the chocolate chunk muffins and the chocolate peanut butter cookies!!

Coffee, empanadas, and muffins were really good! Small little local coffee shop with a good variety of breakfast and bakery options, everything looked good!

First off, I like strong coffee and always ask to pay for extra espresso shots in a cappuccino. Their lrg cap already has 4 shots! So I then ask to make it extra extra dry, just a splash of milk. The first came and tasted only like milk. I resisted for a bit to ask for another. I don?t like waste and didn?t want to complain; I hadn?t had my cup of caffeine yet! But I asked and repeated want to asked for. They made it again, and it was the same. (The weight of the cup you can tell it heavy with milk. It was quite awful. I threw it away. I did get a gluten free banana muffin. It was good, although very sweet. Just under $12 for a cappuccino and 1 muffin (before tip . Yikes.
