Southern Rose Cafe - Seminole

We ordered the standard breakfast plate, which came with hash browns that were more burnt than crispy, along with two potato, egg, and cheese burritos and one pancake. My family was not pleased because the burritos seemed to have no cheese, despite being charged $6.50 each for them. The hash browns were also overcooked. I genuinely want to support a small-town diner, but when they can’t get the basics right and charge double the reasonable price, it's difficult. I hope the owner sees this because unless that oatmeal has truffles in it, the pricing is way too high. He might attract more customers if he lowered prices and focused on quality instead of serving burnt hash browns or cheese-less burritos. I would not choose to eat here again when passing through; I would rather buy from Sonic for half the price and get a full meal instead. It's a small town, but that doesn't mean they should gouge customers. $14 for oatmeal? Really? There are about 50 servings in a bulk container. And $12 for an omelet with just one egg? The pricing here is completely unreasonable.

It wasn't too bad; it could use some improvement, but the onion rings were fantastic!

I clicked 5 stars four times, and I would do it again! It was absolutely fantastic! Honestly, the best bacon cheeseburgers I've ever had. Don’t hesitate—just go for it!
